Grisleidy Peña

Originally from New York City, my family and I later moved to South Jersey, where I completed my undergraduate studies. My decision to pursue a career in the legal field is deeply rooted in my experience as the eldest daughter of immigrants, where I witnessed firsthand how complex and overwhelming the legal system can be. Earning my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Political Science, from Rutgers University further strengthened my passion for advocating for others. While the classroom gave me an understanding of the structure of law, my family’s experience navigating complicated legal processes gave me a deeper sense of purpose and ultimately inspired me to begin my career in the legal field.

During my post-grad job search, Grungo Law immediately stood out to me for its commitment to helping clients through difficult moments with compassion and dedication. I am excited to begin my legal career as a part of a team where I can continue learning, growing, and making a meaningful impact.

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, traveling/exploring, trying new things, and spending quality time with the people I love!
