Christine Tanchyk

I began working in HR at the Law Offices of the Public Defender, 20th Judicial Circuit in Fort Myers, Florida, in 2022 and became a Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resources Management in 2023. Having spent a decade in the substance abuse field, first as a counselor and then as an administrator, pivoting to Human Resources was a natural fit. I have a unique understanding of the demands imposed upon care professionals and have spent the last several years refining my skills to specifically tend to those involved in client care in the legal field.

I grew up in Piscataway, NJ, and am thrilled to be back in the great Garden State! Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family, cook, bake, rile up my dogs, and take drives to nowhere – not all who wander are lost!

“Helping the helpers” is my primary goal at the start of each day, and joining the Administration team at Grungo Law will allow me to focus on the firm’s employees and help them to be in the best position to serve our clients. From payroll to benefits administration to chatting over coffee after a stressful day, people are at the heart of all that I do!
