Casino parking available ($5–$30; some casinos validate). For America’s 250th anniversary, Grucci fireworks launch from TWO locations simultaneously in Atlantic City — a historic scale-up.

SHOW 2: North Beach / Ocean Casino Resort

Details: North Beach kicks off Independence Day festivities. Free and open to the public from the Boardwalk and beach. Best viewing from Steel Pier and Ocean Casino Resort stretch of beach.

Avalon 4th of July Fireworks — Largest in South Jersey
Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
Location: 30th Street Beach, Avalon, NJ 08202
Time: Approximately 8:45–9:00 PM
Details: Billed as one of the largest fireworks displays on the East Coast. The show is set to patriotic music simulcast on radio station WCZT 98.7 FM The Coast. Pre-show events include a Bay Atlantic Symphony Independence Day Concert at the Avalon Community Center (3001 Avalon Ave) on Sunday, July 3 at 7 PM — free but fills fast, standing room available. Also a patriotic 63rd Army Band Concert at 30th Street beach on Saturday, July 2 at 6:30 PM. Avalon Boat Parade on July 3 at 11 AM. Free to attend. Beach badge not required for fireworks viewing after dusk. Arrive early — Avalon parking is limited and island fills quickly on the holiday weekend.

Barnegat Light — Independence Day Parade & Fireworks (LBI)

Location: Parade starts: Post Office parking lot, 11th Street, Barnegat Light, NJ 08006 | Fireworks: near Barnegat Lighthouse / Bay Breeze Park, Bayview Ave & 7th Street
Time: Parade assembly 6:30 PM | Parade 7:00 PM | Fireworks at dusk (after dark)
Details: Annual Independence Day parade through this iconic lighthouse town at the northern tip of Long Beach Island. Assembly begins at 6:30 PM at the Post Office parking lot on 11th Street. The parade heads north toward the lighthouse, then swings around to the gazebo at Bayview and 7th Street (Bay Breeze Park), where music and awards follow. Fireworks after dark, visible from both the water and the shore — one of the most scenic settings on the Jersey Shore, with Barnegat Lighthouse as a backdrop. Free to attend. Street parking in Barnegat Light; the island gets extremely crowded on July 4 weekend — arrive early in the day. Cape May City 4th of July Fireworks
Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
Location: Congress Hall Beach, Beach Avenue, Cape May, NJ 08204 (launched from offshore barge)
Time: 9:00–10:00 PM
Details: Fireworks launch from an offshore barge across from Congress Hall and are visible all along the beach at Convention Hall and past Congress Hall Beach. Pre-4th events include an Independence Day Parade on Saturday, July 2 at 1 PM along Beach Avenue, featuring string bands, veteran organizations, local officials, and a decorated vehicle/bike contest (contact Cape May Dept. of Civic Affairs to participate: 609-884-9565). Cape May is celebrating its 175th anniversary as a city and 50th anniversary as a national historic landmark in 2026. Free to attend. Street parking and public lots available — arrive very early as Cape May fills quickly. Note: Cape May also hosts U.S. Coast Guard Sunset Parade on July 3 at 7:40 PM at USCG Training Center (gates open 6:30 PM).

Margate — 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza

Details: Hosted by the beloved Margate Mothers’ Association — one of the most cherished traditions on the South Jersey shore. Fireworks are launched directly from the beach at Huntington Avenue. The beach in the immediate launch area is closed all day to allow professional pyrotechnic setup. Free to attend — bring beach chairs and blankets. Excellent viewing extends from the Huntington Avenue beach all the way to Ventnor to the north and Longport to the south, including near the famous Lucy the Elephant landmark. Details: One of the Jersey Shore’s most complete Independence Day celebrations. Morning: Annual Bike Parade at 40th & Asbury Ave (registration 9 AM, parade begins 10 AM). Afternoon/evening: Free Fourth of July Skate Bash at the Skate Park (5th St. & Asbury Ave.), 5:30–8:30 PM, featuring DJ, snacks, giveaways, and patriotic costume contest. Evening: Kite-flying competition at 7 PM; entertainment on the beach next to the Music Pier; Ocean City Pops Patriotic Concert at Carey Stadium July 3 at 7 PM (free, bring chair/blanket). Details: Fireworks launched from an ocean barge near 50th Street Beach — visible from anywhere on the island. Patriotic music plays along the promenade during the show. Pre-fireworks event: All Americana Family Fun Night at Excursion Park (JFK Blvd. & Pleasure Ave.) from 7–8:30 PM featuring face painting and patriotic entertainment. Free to attend. Bring beach chairs and blankets to the sand. Sea Isle fills very quickly on July 4 weekend — plan to arrive well before noon to secure parking. Street parking throughout the city.

Stone Harbor — Independence Day Concert & Fireworks

Location: Recreation Fields, 81st Street & 2nd Avenue, Stone Harbor, NJ 08247 (also visible from beachfront)
Time: BLT Band concert 7:30 PM | Fireworks 9:15 PM
Details: Pre-fireworks concert by the BLT Band at 7:30 PM at the 81st Street Recreation Fields. Fireworks launch at 9:15 PM and are visible from both the Recreation Fields and anywhere along the Stone Harbor beachfront. Free to attend. July 4 daytime fun includes Stone Harbor’s annual competitions at 80th–82nd Street fields and beaches (sand sculpting, candy scramble, foot races, slow bike races, bike decorating contests — check the Stone Harbor calendar for 2026 specifics). Ventnor City — Independence Celebration, Ventnor Mile Run & Fireworks

Time: Crafters & vendors 5:00 PM | Ventnor Mile Run 7:00 PM | Concert to follow | Fireworks at dusk
Details: Full community celebration at Newport Avenue Beach. Crafters and food vendors set up at 5 PM along Newport Avenue. The annual Ventnor Mile Run begins at 7 PM (registration at 6 PM — can sign up the day of event; adults $25, children $20, T-shirts while supplies last). Live concert follows the race. Fireworks display at dusk. IMPORTANT: A section of Ventnor beach is closed all day for pyrotechnic setup — the affected area runs between Avolyn and Stratford Avenues (New Haven and Newport Avenue beach areas); lifeguards from New Haven Ave relocate to Portland Ave. Best viewing from the beachfront park on Newport Avenue behind the Ventnor City library and Cultural Arts Center. Pre-show: The weekly Friday Night Fireworks run from June 26 through September 4, synced to music on 98.7 The Coast. All shows launched from Pine Avenue Beach and visible for miles in every direction. Free to attend from the beach or Boardwalk.
